Refund Policy

Effective: July 24, 2026 Last updated: July 24, 2026

This Refund Policy sets out the conditions, procedure, and exceptions for refunds on paid purchases from TVIEW LAB (the "Service"), operated by VIBE MAKER (the "Company").

Terms not defined here take the meanings given in Terms of Service §2. Subscription billing and auto-renewal are covered in the Subscription Terms.

This Policy does not limit any refund or withdrawal rights that mandatory consumer protection law in your country grants you.

§1. Purpose

This Policy sets out clearly when and how you can request a refund, and what our process is. It is designed to be fair and to comply with applicable consumer protection law.

§2. Scope

This Policy applies to the following paid products:

  • Premium Membership — recurring paid subscription
  • Individual report purchases — one-time purchases of specific reports listed on the Service

It does not apply to free content, the newsletter, or public research.

By completing payment for any paid product, you accept this Policy, the Terms of Service, and the Subscription Terms.

§3. Premium Membership refunds

Premium Membership is a recurring paid subscription.

Subscription starts immediately. Payment is confirmed and paid features are activated the moment we receive gateway confirmation. Because access is immediate, please confirm the amount, billing cycle, and cancellation method before completing checkout.

Cancellation. You can cancel any time through your account settings. If self-service cancellation is unavailable, contact us. See Subscription Terms §6.

Cancellation timing. When you cancel, auto-renewal stops. Paid access continues through the end of the already-paid billing cycle. After that, your account moves to the Free plan.

Refund of an already-active billing cycle. Because Premium activates immediately at checkout, an already-active billing cycle is not typically refundable. Refunds tied to our fault or to mandatory consumer protection law are addressed in §5 below.

EU cooling-off period. If you are a consumer in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, you may have a 14-day right of withdrawal from the day of purchase. Once you actively use the paid content within that window, this right may be limited (see the Consumer Rights Directive 2011/83/EU, Article 16(m)). We describe how to exercise this right in §7.

§4. Individual report refunds

Individual reports are one-time digital purchases.

Digital content characteristics. Individual reports are made available for reading or download immediately after payment. Once the report has been opened or downloaded, use is considered to have begun.

Withdrawal exception for digital content. Consistent with common consumer protection frameworks for digital content, once you have opened or downloaded a purchased report, the right of withdrawal for that specific report may be limited. This limitation is disclosed at the checkout page for each paid report.

When a refund is available. If the report has not been delivered, if we cannot deliver it due to our fault, or if applicable law requires a refund, we process the refund under §5 below.

§5. When refunds are available

You can request a refund of some or all of the payment in the following cases. We honor refunds in the scope required by applicable law.

  • Duplicate charge: same product charged more than once unintentionally.
  • Billing error: amount charged differs from the actual product price.
  • Service failure: our fault prevents you from accessing or using the paid product.
  • Our fault: paid product was not delivered, or was materially different from what was described.
  • Legal refund entitlement: applicable consumer protection law entitles you to a refund.

§6. When refunds are limited

Refunds may be limited in the following cases, subject to your rights under applicable law:

  • Change of mind: refund requests based solely on your change of mind, subjective dissatisfaction, or personal circumstances.
  • Digital content already used: individual reports that have been opened or downloaded (see §4 and mandatory-law exceptions).
  • Termination for cause: subscriptions terminated due to violation of the Terms of Service, IP Policy, or Subscription Terms.
  • Cause attributable to you: issues arising from your own actions (mistyped payment information, connectivity problems, and similar).
  • Chargeback filed: if you file a payment dispute (chargeback) with your card issuer or payment provider, we may deem your refund request superseded by that dispute and decline additional refund processing for the same charge.

This section does not limit any refund right granted to you by applicable mandatory consumer protection law.

§7. How to request a refund

How to submit. Submit refund requests to tviewlab@gmail.com. Please include:

  • The account email you used
  • The date and amount of the payment
  • The product name or order number
  • The reason for the refund request

Review. We review the request against your payment record, usage history, and applicable law. We may ask for additional information during review.

Processing time. We reply with a decision within three business days of receiving the request. Once approved, the refund is processed by our payment gateway. Actual credit back to your account may take additional time depending on the payment method (typically 3–10 additional business days).

Refund method. Refunds are issued to the original payment method by default. If that method is unavailable, we agree an alternative with you.

§8. Applicable law

This Policy complies with the applicable consumer protection frameworks in the jurisdictions we serve, including consumer protection statutes in the Republic of Korea (our place of establishment), the EU Consumer Rights Directive for consumers in the EEA and the United Kingdom, and comparable frameworks in other jurisdictions.

No clause in this Policy is intended to limit any mandatory refund or withdrawal right that applicable law grants you. In case of any conflict between this Policy and mandatory law, the mandatory law prevails.

Amendments to this Policy follow the process in Terms of Service §3.
